| I have developed an Excel
spreadsheet to calculate P & K losses from Arable crops. You can try an interactive
web version of this spreadsheet by clicking below. You should enter field details in the
sections which are blocked into groups of six rows to allow you to block by crop. The
system takes account of two years cropping but it will calculate one one year only if you
only have that data. IMPORTANT, you must use the following abbreviations to specify crop
types. WW = Winter Wheat, WB = Winter Beans, WO = Winter Oilseed Rape. Then add the letter
G if grain only was removed at harvest OR S if straw and grain were removed. e.g. Winter
Wheat with straw and grain harvested and removed would be WWS.
